There are regular ferry services from Slovenian Piran city to Venice that have been operated since 2004. A catamaran called St.Paul accommodates 320 passengers (with 35 VIP-seats). Another ferry-catamaran Princess of Venice departs from Izola city. One can buy the tickets for these ferries at any tourist agency located on the coast. The ferry ticket allows one to use Venetian public transport during 12 hours for free. Besides that the ticket gives discounts at some restaurants and galleries.
